This painting was inspired by the late summer of 2014. My husband and I traveled down the Oregon Coast on a Road Trip with no real destinations, just exploring. Life gets busier each year (especially with small children) and these spontaneous trips are few and far between. I fondly think back at the time spent exploring and look to the future for times in nature. This painting represents the freedom felt on an open road with a full heart for adventure.
